White mold cheese in filo pastry

A nice dish that is suitable for both main and side dishes. The phyllo pastry is thin and cooks nice and crispy. The perfect food to serve at a wine night. Small white mold cheeses are sold in supermarkets, so you can prepare an individual cheese package for every people.

Ingredients:
Two smaller white mold cheese. I used Chamember cheese
4 sheets of filo pastry
75 g of butter for greasing the dough
Salt flakes for seasoning food. You can also use regular sea salt

Preparation:

  1. Spread the phyllo pastry sheets on the work surface, melt butter and brush one sheet of phyllo pastry with butter.
  2. Wrap the cheese in a sheet of filo pastry and set aside.
  3. Spread another sheet of phyllo pastry with butter as well and wrap another layer of phyllo pastry around the cheese.
  4. Prepare the second piece of white mold cheese in the same way.
  5. Place the cheeses wrapped in phyllo pastry in a thick-bottomed pan, spread butter on top, and sprinkle with salt flakes or sea salt.
  6. Bake at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes until the filo pastry is golden brown and very crispy.
    Serve with a fresh salad or greens herbs.
