Sour cream apple pie
I’ll post here an old recipe cake made by our family for many years. This is an easy-to-make and results in a creamy consistency cake. The right amount for a 24 cm mold. Nothing happens when preparing 2/3 of the amount, but with this amount, the cake will feel nicely thick. Cake must be thick after all??

Quantity: One 24 cm cake
Ingredients:
300g butter
6 eggs
300g sour cream
180g flour
210g of sugar
2.5 iron teaspoons baking powder
1.5 teaspoons vanilla sugar
1.5 heaps of sour apple slices
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
1. Melt the butter on low heat
2. Mix remaining dough ingredients to the melted butter. it is ideal to mix the dough using a mixer, but it is also suitable to mix with a spoon.
3. Peel the apples, cut into slices and add to the dough. Mix with a spoon. Don’t use electric mixer !! (to not smash the apples).
4. Pour the mixture into the cake mold and bake until the cake is golden brown and the probe is clean. You can leave the oven open with the door open, but you don’ have to … Let it cool before eating.
5. Shake over with the icing sugar.
