Insalata Caprese
One of the simplest, but also the most delicious salads from Italian cuisine. The salad is believed to have originated in the region of Naples, in the island of Capri. Like a pizza Margherita, the salad symbolizes the colors of the Italian national flag – red tomato, green basil, and white mozzarella. This salad can be made in different ways, setting the components on a plate regularly or mixed, but the result is still the same delicious salad. In addition, a simple seasoning with a little good olive oil, sea salt, and black, freshly ground pepper makes it perfect.
