Chocolate chip cookies with chili and sea salt flakes
Recipes for chili chocolate chip cookies are circulating on Mexican food sites and blogs, mostly using very hot chili powders. I made my own version of these cookies. I put about half as much chili powder as usual but still, these cookies will wake you up. When prepared in this way, the cookies come out very soft, either slightly runny on the inside or at least with a soft consistency.
