K\u00fcsisin n\u00f5u oma poja s\u00f5bralt Mark Liechtilt, kuidas Itaalias valmistatakse konserveeritud tomateid, millega saaks teha pastakastet v\u00f5i kasutada muude Itaalia toitude valmistamiseks. Markilt saadud ideede ning Kasep\u00e4\u00e4lt saadud k\u00fcpsete tomatitega sai valmistatud siin kirjeldatud tomatikonservid. Aseta tomatid keevasse vette ja keeda umbes 3 minutit. T\u00f5sta tomatid k\u00fclma vette.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Koori tomatid ning eemalda varre kinnituskoha k\u00f5va osa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vala sedasi ettevalmistatud ja j\u00e4medalt t\u00fckeldatud tomatid keedupotti ning keeda umbes 20 minutit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pese purgid ning aseta purkide p\u00f5hja kaks basiilikulehte. Vala purgid poolenisti t\u00fckeldatud tomateid t\u00e4is, lisa veel kaks basiilikulehte ning t\u00e4ida purgid t\u00fckeldatud tomatitega.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aseta purgid keedupotti, t\u00e4ida pott veega nii, et vesi j\u00e4\u00e4b umbes 2 cm madalamaks purkide servast. Kata purgid kaantega, kindlasti \u00e4ra kaasi kinni keera. Kuumuta purke madalal kuumusel kuni 80 kraadini ja hoia sellel temperatuuril umbes 30 minutit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keera kaaned kinni ja t\u00f5sta valmis tomatikonservid jahtuma. Segu jahtub ja t\u00f5mbab kaaned vaakumisse ning tomatisegu s\u00e4ilub sellises keskkonnas h\u00e4sti.
